The KDM 706A features 252 channels, 250 watts, all solid-state Distance Measuring Equipment (DME). It accepts direct DME channeling from Bendix/King serial, 2x5 and ARINC 429 serial tuning formats. It provides outputs for ARINC formats 568 and 429, analog pulse pairs and analog rate pulse plus Bendix/King Serial Data for DME indicators. It also provides 40 mv/nm for analog RNavs. Includes a KA 60 antenna and installation kit. This system includes a DME indicator.
